  • 1 1/4 cups warm water (110°F / 43°C)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix warm water with honey until dissolved. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for about five minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, mixed seeds, and salt.
  3. Create a well in the dry mixture and pour in the yeast mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about ten minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm spot for one hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased bread pan. Let it rise for another half hour while preheating the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling before slicing.
