- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- ¾ cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup strawberry purée or strawberry jam
- ½ teaspoon pink or red food coloring (optional)
Glaze (optional):
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Valentine sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, oil (or butter), vanilla extract, strawberry purée, and food coloring if using.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Spoon or pipe batter into donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until donuts are set and lightly golden.
- Let cool slightly, then glaze and decorate if desired.
