Description

Valentine’s Heart Shaped Cookie Cake is a soft, chewy giant sugar cookie baked into a heart shape and decorated with festive frosting. Perfect for Valentine’s Day celebrations, gifting, or sharing with someone special, this cookie cake is sweet, simple, and fun.


Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips or pink/red sprinkles

Frosting (optional):

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pink or red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a heart-shaped pan with parchment paper or grease well.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips or sprinkles.
  7. Press dough evenly into prepared heart-shaped pan.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes until edges are set and center is soft.
  9. Cool completely before frosting.
  10. Prepare frosting by beating all frosting ingredients until smooth and decorate as desired.
