- 1 (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- ½ cup Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- 1 (5 oz) can tuna in olive oil or water, drained and flaked
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, olives, and capers. Simmer for 8–10 minutes.
- Gently fold in tuna and warm through for 2–3 minutes.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
