- 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, ground beef, parsley, Parmesan, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
- Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to the saucepan with marinara and gently coat. Serve over spaghetti or with crusty bread.
