- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon red food coloring (gel preferred)
- ¾ cup white chocolate chips
Notes
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat sugar and eggs until thick and pale.
- Mix in melted butter, vanilla extract, and red food coloring.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in white chocolate chips.
- Shape dough into a 12-inch log and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes until set. Let cool for 10 minutes.
- Slice log diagonally into ¾-inch slices.
- Arrange slices cut-side down and bake for an additional 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp.
- Cool completely before serving.
