Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup canned cranberry sauce (divided)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and half of the cranberry sauce until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into one-inch meatballs and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the remaining cranberry sauce, soy sauce, and honey (or brown sugar) until smooth.
  5. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with additional sauce if desired.
