  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional, for streusel topping)
  • 2 tbsp cold butter (for streusel topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until creamy.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
  5. For the topping: Mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nuts (if using), and cold butter until crumbly.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan; sprinkle with half of the streusel topping. Repeat layering with remaining batter and topping.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.
