  • For the Frosting: 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 13×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; mix until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  7. For frosting, beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth; spread over cooled bars.
