Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, instant yeast, and salt. Create a well in the center and add warm water and olive oil. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle approximately half an inch thick. Evenly spread pesto over the surface.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the pesto, then roll the dough tightly from one end to another. Pinch seams closed.
- Cut rolled dough into one-inch pieces and arrange them upright in a circular shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
