- ½–¾ cup Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out both sheets of puff pastry slightly to smooth edges.
- Spread Nutella evenly over one sheet of puff pastry.
- Place the second sheet on top and gently press together.
- Cut the pastry into a large heart shape.
- Starting from the center, cut strips outward, leaving the center intact.
- Twist each strip twice and lay it flat to create a pull-apart effect.
- Whisk egg and milk together and brush over the pastry.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired
