Description

Green Pizza is a fresh, vibrant pizza loaded with green vegetables, creamy cheese, and herb-forward flavors. Made with pesto or herb sauce and topped with greens like spinach, zucchini, and broccoli, this pizza is light, colorful, and full of flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 prepared pizza dough
  • ½ cup pesto sauce or spinach herb sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup zucchini, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup broccoli florets, finely chopped
  • ½ cup spinach or arugula
  • ¼ cup green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese, fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Spread pesto sauce evenly over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Top with zucchini, broccoli, green bell pepper, and spinach.
  6. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Transfer pizza to the hot baking surface.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from oven, garnish with Parmesan or fresh basil if desired, slice, and serve.
