Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in flour and sugar until smooth. Let cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
- Pipe small mounds of the dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown; do not open the oven during baking.
- While cooling, melt chocolate in a bowl over simmering water, then whisk in heavy cream until smooth.
- Once cooled, fill each profiterole with the chocolate cream using a piping bag and dust with edible gold before serving.
