- 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a large baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and add minced garlic and oregano, cooking until fragrant.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with basil, salt, pepper, and half of the mozzarella until well combined.
- Layer the baking dish with a thin layer of marinara sauce, followed by noodles, meat mixture, cheese mixture, and more sauce. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with noodles topped with remaining sauce and mozzarella.
