Description

Feta Salmon Pasta is a creamy, flavorful pasta dish featuring tender baked salmon, tangy feta cheese, and a light garlic-infused sauce. Inspired by Mediterranean flavors, this easy meal is perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ¾ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Place salmon on a baking sheet, drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Bake salmon for 12–15 minutes until cooked through and flaky.
  4. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  5. Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Stir in cherry tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes; cook for 3–4 minutes.
  8. Flake cooked salmon into the skillet and gently stir.
  9. Add pasta and feta cheese, tossing to combine. Add pasta water as needed for a creamy consistency.
  10. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
