Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 6 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (divided: 1/4 cup for custard, 1/4 cup for topping)

- 1 tbsp brandy or rum (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Arrange ramekins in a baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, egg yolks, 1/4 cup sugar, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and optional alcohol until well combined.
- Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared ramekins.
