Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 ¼ cups warm water (110°F / 43°C)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup olive oil, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 cup dill pickle slices, patted dry
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit for 5–7 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Knead dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a baking pan with olive oil.
  6. Press dough into the pan, dimpling with fingers.
  7. Drizzle generously with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  8. Top evenly with dill pickle slices and fresh dill.
  9. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  10. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
