Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cheese-filled tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Cook the tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for about three minutes on each side until browned but still pink inside. Remove from heat and let rest.
- 3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter, then minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about one minute). Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly.
- 4. Slice the rested steak into bite-sized pieces and add it along with cooked tortellini to the skillet. Gently toss to coat everything in the buttery sauce.
- 5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
