- 8 oz cooked roast beef, thinly sliced
- 4 slices crispy bacon
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, washed and dried
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 3 slices whole wheat bread, toasted
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to paper towels to drain.
- Toast the whole wheat bread until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread. Layer lettuce, roast beef, bacon, and tomato on the first slice.
- Top with another slice of bread and repeat layering if desired. Finish with the final slice of bread.
- Cut diagonally into quarters and secure with toothpicks if needed. Serve immediately.
