Ten years ago, I was the person doom-scrolling “easy dinner ideas” at 5:45 p.m. with hungry kids and a fridge that didn’t match the recipe. I wasn’t looking for restaurant-level plates — I just wanted food that tasted great, used normal ingredients, and worked the first time. That frustration became a habit: test, simplify, write it down. Eventually, friends kept asking for “that chicken thing” or “the pasta that never fails.”
That’s how CraveEasy started: a place for realistic, flavorful recipes you can count on.
What We Believe
- Good food doesn’t need a culinary diploma.

Editor-in-Chief & Recipe Developer — Sarah Mitchell

I plan the editorial calendar, develop and test recipes, write every post in plain English, and hit publish. I also respond to reader emails and DMs (give me 1–2 business days).
Photographer & Food Stylist — Ava Carter

Ava captures each recipe in natural light after we lock the final version — so what you see is what you can make. She also manages our image guidelines (no trick styling, no glue, no fake steam).
Test Kitchen & Community Care — Miguel Torres

Miguel double-tests timing and yields on different equipment (gas, electric, air fryer, convection), tracks common reader questions, and flags anything we should clarify on future edits.
How Our Recipes Are Made (and why they work)
- Draft & plan: US-available ingredients, realistic timing, minimal dirty dishes.
- Test: at least two rounds for savory; three for baking.
- Measure: US cups + grams where precision matters.
- Cross-check: pan size, oven rack position, rest times, storage & reheating.
- Update: meaningful edits are date-stamped in the post.

- Content created in-house; no AI “recipe dumps.”
